The products

Autosmart sell and make a large range of products, which vary from regular shampoo’s and cleaners, to towels and polishers. Most of the products are made by volume, which lowers the production costs and the price of the product. It also makes it possible for professional detailer to buy products in very large quantities. There is also a range of retail products, in smaller packages, available for the hobbyist or weekend warrior. The retail range is smaller then the professional range.

Autosmarts history

Autosmart was established in 1979 in the United Kingdom. It grew from this moment into an international operating company via a network of franchisees. Every franchisee operates individually, but under the name of Autosmart. Autosmart is not the only who works in the fashion, but only a few demand that there name is used. Many other companies allow the distributor/reseller to keep their original businessname and sometimes even to change the brand name of the products. Custom labelling is not an option with Autosmart. Seeing as many people interpret “valeting” different then “detailing”, Autosmart would be a company whoms products are more suited for “valeting” then for “detailing”.

Company information

Autosmart has its own company website and is not very active on social media. Autosmart products can sometimes be found on detailing events and bigger car meetings, but these will be offered by a distributor or reseller.
