Corrosion Technologies History
Corrosion Technologies was formed in 1988 in Dallas, America under the name of Corrosion Block Inc. In July 1992 the company changed its name to Corrosion Technologies. In November 1993 they started to get involved in anit-corrosion product for the marina, automotive and industrial market. Throughout the years they have developed products for the high demands of the US military which later became available for the general public.
Corrosion Technologies products
The Corrosion Technologies brand aims at creating various products to protect surfaces from wear and tear, or removes traces and signs of this wear and tear. This can be corrosion, oxidation, acid rain and much more. They produce products that can be used in the world of marine vehicles, airplanes, cars, bikes and industrial objects.
A few popular products from Corrosion Technologies would be MadWax, Rust Remover, RejeX, CorrosionX, HammerHead.
Unique branding
Most manufacturers will brand a product as a product, meaning they display their company name and then the product name. If you look at most product labels, they feature the company logo, with the product name close to it. When you look at the product name, you quickly see what company made it.
Corrosion Technologies approaches this from a totally different angle. They make every product look as if it’s a brand. For example; RejeX is one of the products made by Corrosion Technologies, its a polymer coating (sealant) to protect paintwork. The product has its own website, a custom label that doesn’t show much reference to the company behind it and even most webshops will use the name “RejeX” as the name of the manufacturer.
So in this case, the productname actually became a brandname. Making people think that RejeX is a brand, not just a product. The same principle applies for CorrosionX, ReelX, SpeedX, Max Wax, NavGuard I, NavGuard II, Rust Remover, Rust Converter LT, Handi-Spray, Xtreme Clean, Pro Wash RX, Boat Bath, Sprakle, Shine & Shield, Mr. Detail, Xtreme Finish, Hammerhead, Xhaust, N-Viro Solve, A-Plex, Boot-Klean, Aero-Glide and several more.
