Detail King is an American manufacturer and supplier of automotive detailing products. The company offers products, trainings, classes, and authorizes detailers to use their products.
Detail King’s history
Detailing was established in 1999 by Nick Vacco in Pittsburgh. Since the beginning the company has offered detailers, companies and hobbyists training, advice and classes to perfect their skills. They also offer a range of products aimed at several steps of the detailing process, including merchandise and tools. Detail King started around 1985 as a mobile detailing business by Nick Vacco’s own vehicle. After many years and lots of hard work he was able to move into a unit with room for 4 cars and a large showroom. The business was called King Of The Road – Auto Appearance Center which soon became the best detailing company in Pittsburgh. Its service quickly expanded from detailing related tasks to custom installations of aftermarket products. The Cadillac Limousine used by the company to transport their customers eventually lead to a second company that now offers the most versatile limousine company in Pittsburgh. Eventually the company was sold, but with detailing in its blood, Nick started a webshop from home based on the knowledge and experience he had gained over the years. Detail King was born and grew within a few years in a staff of 12 and a 9500 square feet building.
Detail King’s products
Detail King offers a wide range of products, aimed at virtually every step within the detailing industry. The company sells their own products under the Detail King label and also offers machines, tool, merchandise and products in large volume. Certain kits can be bought to get all-in-one sets. Such as the Business Start Up kit that offers everything needed to start up your own detailing business. The shop also offers training DVD’s and classes, with the main focus on educating the viewer on detailing principles.
Company information
Detail King has its own company website and has several social media channels being actively used. They are not very frequent visitors of detailing fora or message boards, but do organize detailing classes and courses. The brand is not often seen on detailing related meetings and/or events and has no known distributors in Europe or Asia.
