RestorFX originates from 2006 and was founded by Alexander and Nadia Kay and Tony Dowsett. The company is located in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. It is one of only a few Canadian manufacturers of automotive detailing products.
RestorFX products
RestorFX has created a range of products aimed at restoring the original paint, repairing imperfections and offering protection against wear and tear to keep the paintwork in optimum condition. The range is offered in 3 kits: RestorFX Renew (to remove clear coat damage and protect), RestorFX Refinish (to repair chips and scratches) and RestorFX Retain (to protect the paintwork from wear and tear). These kits can also be combined to increase the results on the worn paintwork.
RestorFX History
RestorFX was founden by Alexander and Nadia kay in 2006. Many years before the official founding of the company, Alexander and Nadia where unimpressed with the useage of outdated technology and products that would only give temporary results. Unsatisfied with the current offer, and with the believe that they could do better, the Kays process of developing a superior product based on improved technology and performance. In 2006 Alexander and Nadia Kay launched RestorFX International together with co-founder Tony Dowsett. Due to rapid growth, the company realized it had to make big changes in 2011. At the same time Nicholas Vaandering joined the company who assumed the position of CEO in 2013. The company currently has given over 200.000 vehicles worldwide a renewed form of protection with hundreds being added to the list worldwide.

RestorFX has its own company website and is available in several different languages. The company is moderately active on social media. The company itself is not very active on detailing fora or message boards, but can be mentioned by customers and/or resellers. RestorFX can very sparingly be seen on meetings and/or detailing related events, and is most often respresented by resellers and/or ditributors.
