Rupes

Rupes is an Italian (Vermezzo) manufacturer of professional machinery, tools and some other electrical equipment. Besides several different machines, they also manufacture machine polishers for the detailing industry. The most famous one is probably the Rupes Bigfoot series.
The Rupes brand
Rupes is an Italian familiy business. It was founded in 1947 and has been developing tools, accessories and air-venting systems with a fixed aim at quality and simplifying the job with improved results. Many manufacturers found in the world of detailing are from Germany, America or Asia, which makes Rupes a bit unique.
The products
Rupes creates several different types of equipment, such as sanders, polishers, sanding discs, air-filtration systems, air-venting systems and mills . Many of these machines are available in an electrical version and a pneumatic version. Rupes also manufacturers and sells polish pads and polishes. The machine polishers best known a=are called the LHR 21 Mark II, LHR 15 Mark II, LHR 75E Mini, Bigfoot Nano Ibrid and the LHR 12E Duetto. Rupes offers a total of 23 different polishing machines(at the time of writing).
The reputation
Rupes has made name with a few popular models in the past, but especially with developing innovative products with smart improvements on the competition. The ergonomic shape, the positioning of the speed button, the size of the start-button and the balancing of the front and back of the machine are just a few of the things they where known for. These small but clever solutions set their products apart from their competition. Rupes is currently considered to be one of the leading brands in the field of professional detailing polishing machines.

Rupes has its own company website and is slightly active on social media. Rupes is very rarely represented at an event of meeting by a Rupes employee, however, there are several representatives or distributors that can be present at these locations.
