ShineMate develops products that are aimed at the polishing process.The current range of products consists out of polishing machines, polishing pads, sanding machines, various accessories, hand sanding and spare parts. Within these categories, they offer products for both rotary and dual action polishers. Apart from the machine polishing equipment, they do not make or sell any polishing liquids.
ShineMate history
ShineMate was born as an addition to another company founded back in 2005. Pascal Zhang started SunnyPads in 2005 as a manufacturer of various type of polishing pads, including wool, foam and PUR molded backing plates. After the initial growth of the company, they decided to spread out with machine tools like rotary’s and dual action polishers. ShineMate was formed in 2009 to expand the current range of products and offers pads made by SunnyPads for the commercial and professional market.
Company information
ShineMate has its own company website and does not offer any official social media channels. The company offers their products through resellers and doesn’t sell straight from their website. The company is not often seen at detailing events or car care meetings. The brand is not often represented on detailing fora or message baords, unless represented by resellers and/or distributors.

- This is a more long term solution for dealing with swirl marks and involves removing a thin layer of the clearcoat where the swirl exists down to a flat layer where there are no swirls. This requires a cutting polish and a lot of heat to be generated to achieve this and is therefore best suited to a machine polisher, although results can be achieved to a more limited extent by hand with plenty of patience and strength and stamina....
