Koch-Chemie is a German manufacturer of industrial and commercial detailing products. Apart from developing new products, the brands aims at using sustainable raw materials, biologically degradable ingredients without the use of dangerous hydrocarbons.
Koch-Chemie history
Koch-Chemie started in 1968 when Hans Koch developed his own formulas for different type of polishes. At the time, he was not impressed by the quality of commercially available and professional products. As a cabinetmaker, he had a fuelled passion for creating perfectly smooth surfaces with a flawless finish. The final product created by Koch was of such quality that expert continued to ask for them. In the years that followed, Koch grew into a company that has set new standards in the detailing market. The next logical step was to develop better quality items for a larger range of processes within the “car washing” steps. Koch-Chemie doesn’t just focus on detailing-products, but also develops product for industrial usage, including floor cleaning and special machinery cleaning products.
Koch-Chemie products can be found worldwide in production environments of BMW, Mercedes-Benz, VW and at countless washsystems, carwashes, automobile factories, dealerships and vehicle valeting companies.

Even though Koch-Chemie started with creating products for the professional and industrial world, they made the step to introduce their commercially available brand in 2010. The range of products is based upon the professional type of products, but in smaller quantities and with a more commercially developed label-design.
The range of products at the moment includes: shampoo, wheel cleaner, glass cleaner, interior cleaner, bug-remover, plastic cleaner, polish, leather care, QD and dressing. The brand is generally recognized by their grey labels with an image of the object that can be treated with the product.

Koch-Chemie is based in Germany. The company has its own company website which is available in German and English language. The company is not very active on social media and is rarely seen at meetings or events, unless represented by a re-seller.
