Smartwax is an American brand of detailing products located in California. The brand was established around 2003 and has a fairly wide range of products that is being offered via several different resellers.

Smartwax’ history
Smartwax is a brand of detailing products made by Smart Inc. The company was founded by David Knotek who has also played a keyrole at Chemical Guys. Smart Inc was established in 2003 in Inglewood, California. A second division: Smart International was founded in 2014 to accommodate for the international expansion of the company. It is thought that Paul Schneider (co founder Chemical Guys) is also part of Smart International. David Knotek is also involved with Auto Detailing Supplies Inc and Detail Garage LLC.
Smartwax’ products
Smartwax offers a wide range of products to cater for most steps in the detailing process. The company has been developing new products since the start and the collection of products is still expending on yearly basis. The current range includes protective products, cleaning, washing, interior cleaning and/or protection, claying, carpets, drying, MF cloths and towels, accessories and some tools. They even offer a special line for carwash companies.
Company information
Smartwax has its own company website. The brand is not very often seen at detailing meetings, but can be seen at larger detailing events. They are moderately active on detailing fora and/or message boards. The brand is most often represented by a reseller or distributor or a customer. Most products can be recognized by the colorful liquids in transparent bottles with transparent labels. The brand is not overly active on social media and is mostly distributed via resellers.
