What is Frogtape

Frogtape has made a name in the branch of painters by making it easier to create sharp lines between 2 colors by simply using masking tape. Frogtape is a brand by Shurtape Technologies, which also create Duck, Painter’s Mate, T-Rex tape and ShurTape.
Why use Frogtape
Frogtape was designed to be used by painters. The masking tape makes it a lot easier to achieve sharp lines where the masking tape was applied. Detailers do not use paint in this way, but the masking tape has proved to also have a good effect on preventing wax from going to unwanted placed. When masking tapes are applied to uneven surfaces, there is a small risk that the edge of the tape doesn’t have solid contact on every piece of the uneven surface. When wax or any other paste product is applied over the masking tape, there is a chance that the product gets under the tape. Products such as Frogtape have better contact on uneven surfaces, preventing any products from getting underneath the tape.
