Adam’s Polishes history
Adam’s Polishes was founded by Adam Pitale who has been in the world of cleaning and detailing since age 9. He started out with cleaning bikes, but quickly found his way to the surface of automotive vehicles by age 10. At age 12 he hired his first employee. After college, he started working at Coca-Cola, where he was asked to devise a way to detail 3400 vehicles every 24 months (142 vehicles a month). This led to the adaptation of techniques, products, processes and chemicals used. Since there was never an official name for the products, they became known as “Adam’s”. The team has expanded throughout the years to roughly 18 people.
The products
Adam’s Polishes offers a very wide range of products, tools and accessoires. This range varies from shampoo, wax, sealants, QD, APC, glass, leather, microfiber towels, brushes, pads, buckets, polishing kits, dressing, glazes and more. Since Adam’s focuses on creating products that help to do all jobs related to detailing, the list of products will likely grow over the years.
Unique selling point
As only one of a few companies in the world, Adam’s Polishes offers a 100% money back guarantee. A quote from their own website:
My personal guarantee is this: if you are not exceptionally satisfied with any Adam’s Premium Car Care product, I will refund your money, plus 10%. I will also replace the item with a like product of your choice. -Adam Pitale (President & Founder)
As far as known, Adam’s Polishes is the only one to offer the extra 10% + the replacement offer.
Company information
Adam’s Polishes has its own company website. They are active on social media. They are not often seen on detailing related fora or message boards. They very rarely venture outside America and are only seen at detailing/car care events when represented by a webshop or reseller.
