What are hose slides

Hose slides are small tools that prevent any hose from getting stuck behind the wheel of a vehicle. Hose slides are offered by many different brands and manufacturer but are all basically the same.
Why use hose slides
When using any device with a hose, you might run into situations where the hose gets caught behind one of the tyres. A stuck hose might prevent you from reaching a certain area and can pinch the hose, not letting any water through. When using a pressure washer, the hose can bend to far causing it to damage from the inside. Over time this will shorten the lifespan of the hose and prevent water from either reaching the pressure washer or the lance. It can also be used to prevent electric leads getting caught behind the wheels. A hose slide will allow any lead, hose or any type of flexible pipe to simply glide along the tire.
How hose slides work
The hose slide is made up out of 2 parts, a triangle shaped bottom and a curved edge that stands up. The triangle part of the bottom will slide underneath the tire, while the curved edge works as a surface for the hose to slide along. The triangle part will be deep enough to just slightly get stuck underneath the tire, without you having to push it very hard.
Some very cheap copies are known to break at the edge when you pull at the hose or lead to hard. Quality items can last years, are UV and chemical resistant and are very cheap. Almost all hose slides are made from PVC.
